Shipping Policy
Automatic platform shipping labels are not active in the private beta yet.
U.S.-only beta
During the private beta, both the ship-from and ship-to address must be in the United States. International labels and forwarding addresses outside the supported U.S. flow are not supported.
Beta
Do not ship an item because a prototype checkout says it sold. Wait until Trail of Trades explicitly enables live transactions and provides a real order record.
Planned live flow
Live orders are intended to generate a platform shipping label or supported carrier QR code from the saved package and address information. Tracking will be attached to the order automatically.
Seller responsibilities
When live shipping launches, sellers must package safely, use the correct label for the actual parcel, tender the package within the posted handling window and keep the receipt when available.
Trades
An accepted shipped trade is expected to create a shipment in each direction. Each participant must follow the same packaging and tracking requirements.
